SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated 7 October 2026
Who sends the texts
Text messages are sent by Mac5G Internet (“Mac5G”, “we”), a Mac Financial Tech Group company, through mac5g.net and the Mac5G service. Mac Financial Tech Group Inc does business as Mac FinTech Solutions, and your texts come from Mac FinTech Solutions for Mac5G Internet. These SMS terms apply to the text messages you agree to receive from Mac FinTech Solutions (Mac5G Internet). They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
SMS consent communication
The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Your opt-in and your consent to receive texts are never shared with any third party or affiliate.
Types of SMS communications
If you have consented to receive text messages from Mac FinTech Solutions (Mac5G Internet), you may receive text messages related to your account and your requests: customer care replies, order and installation updates, and account and billing notices, such as a reminder when a bill is due, a past-due notice, a notice if service is suspended for non-payment, and a notice before service is disconnected. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
For example: “Hello, thank you for contacting Mac FinTech Solutions (Mac5G Internet). How can we help you? Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message and data rates may apply. For assistance, text HELP or visit our Privacy Policy at https://mac5g.net/privacy and Terms of Service at https://mac5g.net/terms.”
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your account activity. Most customers receive a few messages a month: no more than five texts for any one bill, plus replies to requests you send us. Across all customers, our volume is well under 1,000 text messages a day.
Potential fees for SMS messaging
We do not charge you to receive our texts, but message and data rates may apply. Many carriers charge a fee for each message sent or received, and the amount depends on your mobile carrier’s plan. Fees can vary with your carrier, your location, whether a message is sent domestically or internationally, and the type of messaging used. Check with your carrier about what your plan includes.
Opt-in method
You opt in to SMS messaging from Mac FinTech Solutions (Mac5G Internet) by checking the optional text-message consent box on the intake forms on our website at mac5g.net, such as the Contact form and our order-request, business, IoT, mobile, TV and voice forms. The box is never pre-checked, and you can submit any of these forms without checking it. Checking it is optional and is not a condition of buying anything. This agreement for SMS will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Opt-out
You can opt out of SMS messaging from us at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive. Once you opt out, you will receive no further SMS communication from us, apart from a single message confirming your opt-out. You can opt back in at any time by replying START, or by checking the consent box on one of our forms again.
