Does Mac5G check my credit?

No. Mac5G doesn’t run a credit check for internet service. Service is paid a month at a time, in advance, month to month.

Many internet and phone companies check credit for their best prices, or ask for a deposit when the score comes back low. Signing up for Mac5G doesn’t involve your credit at all.

What do I need to sign up?

• An address the network reaches. We check it first: enter it on the availability page.
• Your name, phone number and email, so a specialist can confirm the order with you.
• A way to pay the first month: the secure payment link we send takes a debit or credit card.
• A router, bought outright or rented for $14.99 a month.

How much is internet with no credit check?

Here is what each home plan costs a month with autopay and an active Mac5G phone line on the same account, next to its list price.

Prices per month before taxes and fees. Autopay takes $5.00 off and a Mac5G phone line takes another $5.00 off. Business plans are on Mac5G Business.

What happens if a payment is missed?

Because each month is paid in advance, a missed payment doesn’t run up a balance. If a payment fails, service may be suspended and, after notice, cancelled, as our terms explain. Call us if you need to update your card.

Is there a catch?

Three things to know. Plans and speeds depend on your exact address, which is why we check it first. Taxes and fees are added to every price. And the router is yours to buy or rent: buying costs more up front, renting adds $14.99 a month.
